Church Electoral Roll Officer

Could you take on the roll as our church electoral roll officer?

The electoral roll is a register of the lay members of the church who are entitled to vote at the APCM. This is revised every year before the APCM and every 6 years a new electoral roll is prepared.

The electoral roll officer’s task is to maintain the electoral roll (update for new and removal of names). This individual may be a PCC member (who may hold another parish officer role), but does not need to be, nor do they automatically become a PCC member on appointment of this role.

Some knowledge of document management and of Microsoft Excel would be useful. If you would like to find out more about this vital job please speak to Julie Roberts, the current electoral roll officer or the churchwardens.
